The following keyboard shortcuts can be useful for quickly navigating through the Clipstart interface.
Return - Rename selected movie.
T - Edit tags.
Tab - While editing a title or tags, jump to the next movie.
F - Flag a movie.
X - Mark a movie to delete. These can be reviewed later across all tags and then moved to the trash.
Delete - Remove the movie from the Clipstart database without deleting the actual movie file.
Space - Preview selected movie inline.
⌘Y - Preview selected movie using Quick Look.
Escape - Close movie editing pane if open.
⌘⇧C - Copy tags.
⌘⇧V - Paste tags.
⌘⇧⌫ - Clear tags.
⌘F - Show the search box to begin typing a query.
⌘⇧F - Hide the search and browse by year again.
⌘J - Jump to a new year from the keyboard.
⌘U - Upload the selected movie to the last service used.
⌘⇧U - Upload with a prompt to enter a description.
For menu items that do not have a keyboard shortcut, or to override existing ones, open System Preferences from the Apple menu. Click on Keyboard & Mouse, then Keyboard Shortcuts, and scroll down to the bottom of the list where custom application commands can be set.
